International Assessment
The BroadLEARN™ Early Learning international assessment is a comprehensive diagnostic assessment program. The assessment activities report on the prescribed learning outcomes of the program and provide detailed reports to affirm and assist student progress. A series of tests checks skills and concepts taught within the program. A key feature of the assessment module is the printable report certificates.
This assessment content for BroadLEARN™ Early Learning is structured to meet the needs of the following countries:

All the BroadLEARN™ Early Learning units and learning activities have specified outcomes. A series of tests has been devised to assess knowledge and understanding of the skills and concepts contained within the program.
There are nine tests which assess knowledge of the all units within the program.

Unit 1: Look At Me
The Unit 1 Look at Me Test assesses knowledge and understanding of parts of the body, the five senses, household objects and action verbs. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student.

Unit 2: Animals
The Unit 2 Animals Test assesses knowledge and understanding of the names and habitats of farm, sea and jungle animals, baby animals, animal noises and the concept of big and small. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student

Unit 3: Colour Fun
The Unit 3 Colour Fun Test assesses knowledge and understanding of primary and secondary colours, colour words and simple patterns. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student.

Unit 4: Make A Shape
The Unit 4 Make a Shape Test assesses knowledge and understanding of common 2D shapes including shape symbols, words and properties of these shapes. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student.

Unit 5: ABCs
The Unit 5 ABCs Test assesses knowledge and understanding of the alphabet and initial letter sounds. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student.

Unit 6: Number Fun
The Unit 6 Number Fun Test assesses knowledge and understanding of cardinal numbers up to 20. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student.

Unit 7: Where Am I?
The Unit 7 Where Am I Test assesses knowledge and understanding of positional language and opposite words. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student.

Unit 8: Rhyme Time
The Unit 8 Rhyme Time Test assesses knowledge and understanding of simple rhyming words, word families and CVC words. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student.

Unit 9: All Around Me
The Unit 9 All Around Me Test assesses knowledge and understanding of simple descriptors for weather and seasons, o’clock time, days of the week and the concept of same or different. The test consists of three levels that correlate with the learning activity levels in this unit. Each level presents ten questions in random order. The test features a clear interface, intuitive navigation and audio support which can be replayed by the student.
Each test has three levels of access to provide a pathway for all learners. The levels are structured into beginner, intermediate and advanced and are designed to correlate to the matching levels in the learning activities. In addition, a Computer Skills Test, allows teachers to ascertain a student's ability to respond to instructions using the mouse and keyboard.

Computer Skills
The Computer Skills Test assesses a student’s ability to respond to questions using the mouse and keyboard (and name parts of the computer). Each time the test is attempted, the questions appear in a different random order. The test consists of 12 questions. The questions require students to drag and drop, fill an object with colour, identify a part of the computer, locate numbers and letters on the keyboard, use the up and down arrows and move the mouse to select objects. The tests feature a clear interface, intuitive navigations and audio support which can be replayed by the student.
Test Your Class or Individual Students:
The Unit Tests are interactive activities that feature text, audio support and supporting images to deliver an accurate and engaging assessment.
They are designed to profile an individual student or to use as a whole class teaching activity. The tests offer between 5 and 10 questions which are selected at random to present a new set of questions at each attempt. A certificate is produced at the end of the test.
Each certificate will demonstrate the student's knowledge of the core learning areas in the BroadLEARN™ Early Learning themes.
